Mrs. Kelly's Sixth Grade Reading

We don't MONKEY around when it comes to reading in the sixth grade. One of our classroom goals for the year is to develop strong, independent readers who enjoy reading!  With the help of our new program, Accelerated Reader we know we can reach that goal! 

Did you know? The most effective way to become a strong, independent reader who loves to read, is to...practice, practice, practice!  As I tell the students, an athlete who wants to become great at a sport, practices every single day.  It's the same with reading.
