Needing some new ways to learn your math facts or practice your math
skills? Try these ideas out!
**Start small-Using few
flash cards lets your see when and where a learner has success. Start with
the easier facts and move up to the more difficult.
**Offer help and avoid struggle-If your child does not know an
answer by the time you count to 4 slowly in your head, tell them the answer
and have them repeat the entire math fact aloud to you.
**Keep your sessions short-Repeating
something three or four times in short, fun sessions gets better results
than one long session.
**Make
it fun-Try some games with math facts or find an Internet site that has
some fun math games.
