Mrs. Kelly's Second Graders and Flat Stanley   We are participating in a fun project based on the Flat Stanley book. In the book, poor Stanley is flattened by a bulletin board. But because he is flat, he can travel in an envelope. So we did the same thing! We each made Flat Stanleys and then sent him off to people we knew who lived away from us.  Our Stanleys will travel to many places like California, Montana, Texas and even Greece and Belgium! Stanley will spend a few weeks with our friends and then return to us.  We will enjoy learning about different places in our world.   Click here to see where 2K's Flat Stanleys traveled!   Thank you to everyone who took care of Stanley while he was traveling and helping us learn about other places!   Stanley has returned!!!!  Here are our projects that we created with Stanleys souvenirs and photos from his trip!  One thing is for sure, Stanley had a great time!!!       We were excited to decorate our letters and the envelopes that Stanley will travel in.        Here we are saying "Bon Voyage" to our Stanleys!   Our Stanleys left for their trips on Friday, February 28, 2008. We hope they have a great time!         Thank you so much to everyone for allowing our Stanleys to spend time with you. We really appreciate it!!!
