Newsy Notes For 3B

Hello Parents,

I would like to go over some general areas of information with you.

Gym - gym shoes are needed every Monday and Wednesday - children may wear them to school or bring them and change before gym class.  Mr. Pagett is the gym teacher.

Music - music classes will be every Tuesday and Friday with music teacher, Mrs. Keller.

Computer Lab - Mrs. Vogel is the computer teacher, and 3B will attend the computer lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Art - Mrs. Burau will teach formal  art class on Wednesdays for one hour.

Library - Wednesday is our library day - books are turned in the day before which will be Tuesday for 3B.

Birthday Treats - students are welcomed to bring treats on their birthday - please make the treats simple and easy to handle at school - children with summer birthdays will have the opportunity to celebrate at the end of the year

Book Orders - about a once a month a book order will be sent home - students may order books but this is entirely optional - please send cash or if a check is written, please make it out to the book company - THANKS

Snacks - students may bring a snack to school to eat mid-morning - please make it a snack that is easy to handle and one that has nutrition in mind (fruit, pretzels, crackers, etc.) - this is entirely optional - we will be finishing up work as the students have their snack - I would want no child to feel upset because they don't have a snack, so I want this to be a rather low-key  thing -  please discuss this with your child.

Book covers - all hard back books must be covered - please use covers that will not stick to the book when it is time to remove them - thank you for your help on this.
