Homework Policy

1. Rationale of policy: to instill good work and study habits and promote student responsibility

2. Homework for following:
    a. Incomplete daily lessons to finish at home
    b. Absent from school
    c. Spelling - review weekly list (5-10 min.)
    d. Math facts
    e. Review for subject tests
    f. Special projects (book reports, etc.)

3. Time should not exceed 30 minutes per night
    (if absent, students will have more than one night to complete if needed)

4. Consequences of unfinished homework:
    a. Teacher record kept on file
    b. Note home or call parents
