Mrs. Meersman's Class

Welcome to 7th and 8th Grade Math. Our students will be working out of the Glencoe Mathematics Series (Courses 2 & 3), both the textbook and the workbook. This series emphasizes pre-algebra and algebra skills while still reinforcing the basic fundamentals of general mathematics. We do offer an accelerated math curriculum for both 7th and 8th grade. Our accelerated 8th grade students attend early-bird Algebra at Alleman High School. It is my goal to instill the belief in all my students that they can be successful in math. I make every effort to make math clear, real, fun and challenging!!
