Grading Policy

Daily homework is graded on participation, not performance.  Graded work will primarily include homework quizzes, chapter quizzes, tests, and problem solving tasks that are done in class.  Grades are not weighted.

Extra Credit:

Extra Credit is meant to be an assignment or activity that enhances ones education.  It was never meant to be a saving measure to low grades.

I do not offer extra credit work.  I do however allow the students to correct most of their their quizzes and tests.  If they do this successfully they receive half a point for every problem. All corrections are done in the classroom. I record these corrections on their report cards in the memo box.
