Music Rules:

1. Respect one another.
2. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
3. Participation.
4. Raise hands before speaking.
5. Upright posture.

Music Rewards:

Grades 1-5 may earn a CD party. A class needs 28 points (counts)  to earn a party. A possible 4 counts may be earned each music class.

Whole Note = 4 counts
Dotted Half Note = 3 counts
Half Note = 2 counts
Quarter Note = 1 count
X = 0 count

Each time a child breaks a rule during their music class, a minute will be deducted from their CD party. When a class earns 28 counts, students may bring a CD of their choice, choose one song, and they are played throughout that music class. At this time students may dance, sing, play games, or even draw/color pictures.
