GRADING (Art grades based on projects, daily class points, and exams)
  A. Project grades: (each project is assigned a point value)
    1/3 following the directions
    1/3 craftsmanship and neatness
    1/3 creativity
  B. Tests/quizzes/notes on videos and class presentations
  C. Due Dates:
    (1) Sufficient time will be given in class to complete projects.
    (2) Full credit given to projects turned in on time. A late slip will be issued for an assignment not completed on time. Late assignments may be graded down 5% each day the assignment is late, up to 3 days. After 4 days, the student may receive a 67% (F) for the assignment. The assignment MUST still be completed and turned into the teacher. All work must be completed to the best of your ability.
    (3) If illness, injury or excused absence interferes with the completion of a project please see the teacher to adjust the due date.
  D. Extra credit enhances current grade and is not to be used as a substitute for an assigned project. Consult Mrs. Burau for project ideas.
