3V Consequences/Behavior Chart

I have a Behavior Modification Chart in the classroom on the front of my desk. The chart works as follows:

  • After receiving a verbal warning, the child's "pencil" will be moved to the yellow section.
  • If the behavior persists, the child's "pencil" will be moved to the red section and he/she will lose recess time.
  • If the behavior continues after this, the child's "pencil" will be moved to the blue section. I will then call home and I will also speak to Mrs. Barrett about the child's behavior.

If your child is in the yellow or red area daily, I will also call home and we will try to come up with a better plan together.
