Homework Policy

1. Practice tying shoes and buttoning buttons until child can do it on their own.

2. Practice address and phone number aloud and written until child can do it on their own.

3. Practice writing numbers and alphabet on daily basis.

4. Any homework pages sent home should be done and returned within 2 days.

5. Sightwords should be practiced on a daily basis until child can recognize the word within a few seconds.

6. Reading to your child or having them read to you each night is a crucial element in them becoming successful readers and learners. This is highly encouraged.
