The following photos were taken during the
Xstream Cleanup at
Smith Island held
August 16, 2008.
We again participated in the
Quad City wide service project Xstream Cleanup. We teamed
up with Troop 109 for this project. This year we worked at
Smith Island on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River near
Lock & Dam 14. We helped to clean up the park, spread
mulch, and painted the park shelters. Pictures
include a tour of Smith
Island, cleaning up trash, mulching and painting.
