Choir

Fourth & Fifth Grade Choir

Students in 4th and 5th grade may participate in the Elementary Choir. Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Sixth - Eighth Grade Choir

Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades may participate in the Middle School Choir. Rehearsals are every Monday afternoon, 2:35 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Expectations

NO AUDITIONS REQUIRED! Although, any student who participates in the choir must expect it to be a serious commitment. Due to the limited amount of rehearsal time, and in fairness to the other choir members, we cannot allow absences or tardiness, unless the student is ill, has a doctor appointment, or there are hazardous weather conditions. If so, a signed note from a parent stating the reason is required. If it is an unexcused absence or tardy, the student cannot participate in that week's mass.

If a student is not participating in rehearsals on a regular basis, or there is a behavior issue, they will be permanently dismissed from choir for that particular school year.

Each year the Seton Choirs number approximately 120 members. We sing all types of genres of music, from blues, pop, sacred, to country. We participate at each weekly mass, and prepare for our annual Vespers and Spring Concerts. So come and join in the fun. Again, no auditions required!
