Parent's Club Minutes

The 2nd Parent’s Club Meeting of the 2009-2010 school year was held on Tuesday January 5, 2010 at 7:00pm.

1)       Eileen Wendt announced that the fall fundraiser needs someone to chair the event for next year. Also, Julie Sheets is planning a teacher’s luncheon during Catholic Schools week. If you are interested in helping, contact Julie.

2)       There was no correspondence.

3)       Treasurer Paul Schmitt provided an updated financial report. 

4)       Mrs. Barrett provided the Principal’s Report:

a)       Catholic Schools week is coming up.

b)       Open house is scheduled on February 3rd.

c)       Mrs. Barrett also provided some basic information the new Vicariate Board. Board members have been selected and are being notified. 1st meeting could happen in late January.  

5)       Committee reports:

a)       Tara Blondell/Spaghetti Dinner

i)         Spaghetti dinner is set for February 5th.

ii)       There has been a ticket price increase of $1.00 this year.       

iii)      Happy Joes has once again will supply the dinner.

iv)      Tim Adams and Coke have generously donated the pop and water this year.

v)        A suggestion from the floor regarding the elimination of the game room was heard. Other activities are being considered.

vi)      Work is being done to include raffle tickets sales with the dinner ticket pre-sales.

vii)     Information regarding the raffle baskets is being distributed.

b)       Tim Adams/Wreath Sale

i)         Wreath sale a huge success this year

ii)       Approximately $800 still outstanding

iii)      Looking to upgrade the bow type on each wreath next year which would also provide cost savings.

c)       Kelly Ronnebeck/Trivia Night

i)         Trivia night is set for March 20th at Culman’s Hall.

ii)       The hall will open at 6:00pm with trivia beginning at 6:30pm.

iii)      Information will be distributed shortly.
