Parent's Club April Minutes

The fourth Parents’ Club meeting was held on Tuesday, April  8, 2008. President Janine Parr called the meeting to order.

Parents Club president, Janine Parr announced that installation of officers is being postponed due to consideration of Booster Club becoming a sub-committee of Parents Club.

Birdies for Charity Letters are to be sent home Wednesday April 9^th.

Lara Hodge Announced that Walk A Thon Kick Off Assembly will be on Friday, April 11^th.  Walk A Thon will take place on Friday May 2^nd.  The committee has had very good response from the community receiving prizes and donations.

Booster Club Report – Scott Ronnebeck reported that the next fundraiser for the group would be Parking at the John Deere Classic.

There was no Principal's Report this month, just a reminder from Mrs. Barrett to pay special attention to May’s Newsletter. 

Kim Naert brought up concerns about the fact that Culeman’s Hall doors are not locked during the day.  Mrs. Barrett is in communication with Msgr. Wellman about a solution.  Mrs. Barrett reminded everyone that there is a Crisis Management Plan in place.  The literature is available in the office for any parent to review.

8^th Grade Parents were honored and recognized before the meeting was adjourned.
