Seton is a consolidated Catholic School serving the cities of Moline and Coal Valley, Illinois and its 4 Catholic Parishes: Christ the King, Sacred Heart, St. Mary's, and St. Maria Goretti. It serves students from Pre-School through 8th Grade on one campus located on the grounds of Sacred Heart Parish at 1320 17th Avenue. Seton's updated facilities include a media center, two computer labs, two science labs, two art rooms, two gymnasiums and a music room. Seton is the largest Catholic Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade school in the area with over 600 students attending.

Seton Catholic School is fully accredited by the State of Illinois and achieves standardized test scores higher than national and diocesan averages. Students are challenged to their full potential and prepared for the 21st century using current technology. Students benefit from a low student to teacher ratio, ensuring quality instruction from dedicated and highly motivated teachers. Faculty and staff see their roles in Catholic education as more than just a profession: it is their vocation. Seton provides students with a solid foundation in core academics, including Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and English. Emphasis is placed on developing strong study skills and work habits. Physical education, music, art and computer curriculums are provided for all grades.

Seton Catholic School is a Catholic Christian community dedicated to a total educational program. We believe that every facet of life is important: spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional. We strive to instill Christian values so that each student becomes a force of good in God's world. Concurrently, our educational program leads, encourages and aids each student to develop his/her intellect to its full potential. We respect the unique attributes of each student. Thus, by providing the atmosphere of living and learning in the light of faith, we encourage each individual to become a whole person - his/her own person.

Seton Catholic School creates a learning environment in which a high value is placed on respect, self-discipline, and good behavior. This structured and disciplined environment emphasizes responsibility. In addition to excellent academics and spiritual development, each student has the opportunity to develop their creative potential through music, band, choir, and fine arts programs, as well as through participation in athletics and after-school clubs.

Seton Catholic School students learn the skills they need to be successful in the workplace, as well as develop values necessary to build a successful life. Students learn about the world through a lens of charity and faith. They are prepared to assume their future roles as good citizens and a people of faith. Seton students learn to serve their families and community, and develop a value system that will be forever a part of their lives.
